IQØFR/p: Italian Castles Award AQ 103, AQ 104, AQ 105 - Jan 7, 2006

On very first days of 2006 I participated to the Italian Castles Award activation of new references L'Aquila 103, 104 and 105 from the town of Corcumello together with my friends of ARI branch of Frascati (Rome): I0DJV Aldo (President), IW0HLZ Roberto, IZ0FBN Giulio, IK0ZCW Alberto. We operated with the callsign IQ0FR/p in 40 meters  with a Kenwood TS 570 and in 20 meters with a Kenwood TS 450S. Antennas were a Eco Antenne rotary dipole (10,15,20) and a wire dipole on 40 meters. 

IIØFNG: 406° GROTTAFERRATA NATIONAL FAIR - Mar 25 - Apr 2, 2006

I was one of the operators of special call IIØFNG celebrating the 406th edition of the Grottaferrata National Fair, one of the oldest fairs still active in Europe. The event was organized by appointment with the district of Grottaferrata. 

IQØFR/6 : CORSA ALLA SPADA E PALIO DI CAMERINO (MC) - 5/20 -5/21 2006

In May 2006 our ARI branch organized a special event station during the traditional "Corsa alla Spada e Palio DI Camerino" a Medieval game  in Camerino, small town of the Marche district, well know for its University.
